Deutsche Bank in Belgium opened its first branches in Belgium in 1978 in Brussels and Antwerp.The new branches, managed jointly from Brussels, concentrated on corporate banking business.
Points of emphasis were, among other things, local short- and medium-term lending business, Eurocredit syndicated loan business, foreign exchange and money market business.
