First Year Programs
To establish your place in the world of Global Finance you need to know where you are going. But how do you know where to start when you are only in your first year of study?
Our Spring into Banking and Bursary Programs have been specifically created for first year students and will give you the support to move in the right direction.

Spring into Banking
22nd - 26th March 2010
12th - 16th April 2010
Spring into Banking offers the perfect introduction to uncover what a career with Deutsche Bank is really like. We like to think of it as a mini internship, where for one week over the Spring, you will receive an insight to what it takes to achieve in our fast-paced world.
You can choose from one of five divisions to work – Finance, Global Banking, Global Markets, Group Technology & Operations and Legal, Risk & Capital.
The Program
Your training starts with an introduction to what working in the City is really like. You’ll learn about how financial markets work and Deutsche Bank’s place in it. It may seem basic enough but a broad knowledge base is important if you want to achieve your potential.
From day two the pace will quicken, you’ll be exposed to different areas of the Bank, and meet a variety of our professionals. Analysts and Associates right through to senior management - all which will help you to build a professional network that will prove invaluable throughout your career.
Day three and four is where the real intensity will begin as you have two days of work shadowing in your division. You’ll gain unique insights into our Bank and your business area, witness live deals and be exposed to real projects.
Spring into Banking is a program that not only recognizes your talent but also rewards it. At the end of the week you will be offered a fast-track interview to our Analyst Internship Program and receive interview and application training from Human Resource professionals.
To be eligible you must be a first year student completing a three-year degree or a second-year student completing a four-year degree.
Applications close 14 February 2010.
