In order to professionalize and promote the full extent of Deutsche Bank´s corporate social investment program, the Deutsche Bank Africa Foundation was established in 2001 as a Registered Trust with an endovment of a € 16,4 million from the Deutsche Bank Board.
Education and schooling, creating jobs, combating crime and fighting poverty are the four main areas of focus for the foundation. Under the Slogan "Touching Lives - Shaping Futures" the Deutsche Bank Africa Foundation wants to make an effective and visible contribution to social and economic renewal in the next three years.
