Giving time at Volunteer Day

While Deutsche Bank employees engage themselves all year round, one peak of social activities is on International Volunteer Day.

Staff from Deutsche Bank’s offices in Madrid and Barcelona spent a day with disabled children, in cooperation with the Foundation Deporte y Desafio (sports and challenge) and Nexe Foundation. Promoting social integration, more than 50 employees participated and engaged in sports and leisure activities with the children.

In Singapore, 15 Deutschbankers helped organise the „Fire Pitch”, where non-profit organisations pitched their cause to win support. Deutsche Bank had sponsored two awards, the "Most Compelling Pitch" and "Most Creative Pitch", worth SGD 4,000 each (c. 2,400 euros). The winners of these two awards were the Singapore Association for the Deaf and We Care Community Services which assist persons with addiction problems.
