Deutsche Securities Menkul Değerler A.Ş olarak değişmiştir.
Bender Menkul Değerler A.Ş. uluslararası kurumsal yatırımcılara hizmet vermek üzere 1994’de kuruldu. Araştırma ekibi 1996’da çalışmalarına başlarken, Bender’in %40 hissesi Temmuz 2000’de Deutsche Bank AG tarafından satın alındı.
Ortaklığı takip eden süreçteki verimli işbirliği sonucu geriye kalan %60 oranındaki hisse de Mayıs 2005 tarihinde yine Deutsche Bank AG tarafından alındı. 2005 tarihli bu gelişme sonucu Bender bir Deutsche Bank AG iştiraki haline geldi.
Deutsche Securities faaliyetlerinde önceliği yabancı kurumsal yatırımcılara yönelik aracılık işlemlerine vermiş ve bu konuda sektörün en etkin kurumlarından birine dönüşmüştür. İşlem hacmindeki uluslararası kurumsal yatırımcıların oranı 2006 yıl sonu itibariyle %76’dir.
2006 yılında 8,2 milyar ABD Doları’nı aşan işlem hacmi ve %1.80 genel pazar payı ile kümülatif sıralamada 104 aracı kurum içinde 18. sırada yer almıştır.
Deutsche Securities gerek yabancı kurumsal müşteriler nezdindeki etkinliği, gerekse Deutsche Bank AG’nin uluslararası dağıtım ağı sayesinde kullanabildiği ek plasmanlar ile önemli birçok halka arz işlemine ve uluslararası kurumsal yatırımcılara yönelik ikincil hisse senedi satışına başarıyla aracılık etmiştir.
