The Berliner Philharmoniker reported today on the positive start to its Digital Concert Hall, winner of several awards, at its annual press conference. Nearly 200,000 music lovers visited the virtual concert hall in the first quarter of 2009. The most important market is Germany, representing 35% of all visitors, followed by Japan (13%), the USA (9%) and Spain (4%).
Following its successful launch, the Digital Concert Hall will now be continuously optimized, in particular, to make it even more straightforward and user-friendly. It also provides free access to all archived concerts from the previous season. The season ticket will be available from June 15, 2009.
- New on offer is the 30 day ticket, which offers the same benefits as the season ticket during a 30-day period. It costs € 39 and is also available from June 15.
