Stabilisation achieved, uncertainties remain - Capital Market Outlook 3rd Quarter 2009
August 4, 2009

The outlook for the world economy has brightened a little for the first time since the outbreak of the global crisis. Economic output declined again in the US in the second quarter, but we expect positive growth rates from Q4. In Euroland the quarter-to-quarter profile for the year looks similar. The unparalleled central bank stabilisation measures and economic stimulus programmes are showing first successes. Exports especially should contribute to growth again from H2 09.
