Deutsche Bank has made a significant leap in rankings in the latest Asiamoney Cash Management Poll 2009. It was voted best Cash Management Bank in Asia-Pacific by large financial institutions (FIs) and received the second highest score for Corporate Cash Management Bank across all three client categories.
This is Deutsche Bank’s highest ranking to date for the cash management franchise in this extensive client poll.
The annual survey, conducted by Asiamoney across 13 countries in Asia-Pacific, garnered over 3,500 responses from corporates and financial institutions who submitted their votes for their preferred cash management bank. Rankings were broken down according to annual sales turnover of the company. The categories or client segments are small, medium and large: USD 500m, respectively.
Within the FI poll, the Bank was also voted Best Provider of Euro Cash Management services by a large margin. For the corporate poll, Deutsche Bank was named as a top two provider in at least two of the three client segments in 10 countries, namely: India, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Japan. India was voted No.1 in all categories.
Separately, Deutsche Bank was named the “cash king” by Asiamoney in a cash management poll of polls that reviewed banks’ overall performance in a six-year period. The Bank outshone its competitors to clinch the top accolade – Best Overall Cash Management Bank in Asia for financial institutions (2003 – 2008) by FIs – with its consistently strong showing in Asia.
