GTO Structure

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) operates a "virtual" structure that maximizes business alignment. This means clear allocation of responsibility between IT and Operations for each business area, which not only provides transparency, but also defines clear tasks for both information technology and business. The GTO-wide governance framework ensures investments and processes are managed and handled strategically for Deutsche Bank.

GTO is comprised of six divisions supporting and managing Deutsche Bank’s technology and operations.

The GTO divisions are:

  • Investment Banking IT (IB IT)
  • Investment Banking Operations (IB Ops)
  • Information Enterprise Services (IES)
  • Personal and Corporate Banking IT Operations (PCB IT/O)
  • Asset Management GTO (AMGTO)
  • GTO Chief Operating Office (GTO COO)

Those who work in Technology for Deutsche Bank design and deliver leading-edge technological products and service solutions. Those who work on Operations support and manage the transactions of the businesses of the Bank. GTO Chief Operating Office (GTO COO) as staff function works with the GTO Management and GTO divisions to define and monitor the GTO-wide standards and processes.
