The Curtains Rise for the Best Ideas from Germany!
At long last: the winners of the “365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas” competition 2010! From January 1st 365 new “Selected Landmarks” will be demonstrating every day how success stories which bear the ‘made in Germany’ stamp are shaping Germany’s future – with a combination of expertise and passion.
More than 2,200 entries were received for the contest which Deutsche Bank and the “Germany – Land of Ideas” initiative run to find the most innovative ideas in Germany. In 2010 the initiative under the patronage of Federal President Horst Köhler will be in its 5th year and the competition has drawn more interest than ever before. An independent jury has now decided on the 365 ideas which will join the ever-expanding network for courage, inquisitiveness and innovation in the coming year. “Selected Landmarks” which prove that Germany really is the land of ideas!

In 2010 to mark the 20th anniversary of the reunification of Germany there will be an additional award for twelve ideas which have proven their commitment and creativity in furthering the well-being and future of reunified Germany.

Each of the “Selected Landmarks” is presented in the new guidebook to the series published by DuMont which will be available in bookshops from January 2010.
