"Deutsche is Banking on Green" – This is the theme for Deutsche Bank's exhibition on the fifth stage of the campaign "Germany and China - Moving Ahead Together", which is taking place from October 23rd to November 1st in Wuhan in association with the "Germany - Land of Ideas" initiative. The bank's pavilion is exhibiting several outstanding examples of how together with its partners it promotes sustainability for its customers and also how it itself leads by example. [more]
The campaign began in 2007 under the direction of the German Foreign Office and in cooperation with the “Germany – Land of Ideas” initiative and its partner, Deutsche Bank. The campaign comprises a broad cultural and informative programme under the patronage of Federal President Horst Köhler and the President of the People’s Republic of China, Hu Jintao. The highlight is the “Germany Esplanade”, which will travel to six metropolises ending with the grand finale at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. On the one hand the roadshow presents Germany as an innovative, highly productive country geared towards the future. On the other hand there is a special focus on the necessity of international cooperation – above all between Germany and China – if the challenges of the future are to be met.
