Igor Lojevsky,
Chief Country Officer, Russia and CIS
Igor Lojevsky rejoined Deutsche Bank in August 2008.
He joins from Dresdner Bank where he was Chairman of Global Banking and Capital Markets for Russia and CIS. Prior to joining Dresdner in July 2007, Igor was at Deutsche Bank in London where he was Head of Sales and Origination for Russia and the CIS since 2005. Prior to joining Deutsche, he was Co-Head of Investment Banking for Vneshtorgbank, based in Moscow, from 2003-2005. He joined after his first employment with Deutsche Bank, from 2001-2003, when he worked in Deutsche's Corporate Finance team in London covering energy related clients in the Russian market. Igor joined Deutsche from the World Bank in Washington where he served from 1998-2000.
Igor holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Boston,1994.
Joerg Bongartz
Chairman of the Board Deutsche Bank Ltd.
Joerg Bongartz is a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank Global Banking and has been with the bank since 1982. He is Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank Ltd., Moscow. Beside this role he is responsible for coverage Financial Institutions with particular focus on investment banking products. He is also Head of Global Transaction Banking Russia and supervises the firm’s activity in Cash Management, Trade Finance, Custody and other Trust and Securities Services. Until May 2006 he was head of Relationship Management for Financial Institutions in Central and Southeast Europe, CIS states and Turkey. In that capacity, he was responsible for the co-ordination and cross selling of all products as well as risk management issues for large commercial banks and central banks in the region. He was also Head of Cash Management Sales Financial Institutions CEE/CIS covering USD and EUR cash products for all FI customers in the region. Before this he was a member of Deutsche Bank's Project and Export Finance Team/Oil and Gas industries and managed a couple of years the bank's offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Joerg Bongartz holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Hagen.
Batubay Ozkan
Head of Global Markets of Deutsche Bank for Russia and CIS.
Batubay is responsible for all Global Markets activities across debt, equity, trading, structuring as well as debt capital markets and sales in Russia and CIS.
Batubay joined Deutsche Bank in 2006 from Trust Investment Bank in Moscow where he headed Structured Products Division for four years. During his time at Trust, he built and managed a structured products team, which was well recognized in the market as a pioneer among Russian Banks. During his last 18 months at Trust, Batubay also ran Trust's equity sales and trading business.
Prior to Trust, he spent 3 years at Goldman Sachs in New York first in Equity Capital Markets Group focusing on Convertibles and Equity Derivatives (1997 - 1999), and later in Convertible Arbitrage Desk as a propriety trader (2001-2002).
At Deutsche Bank Russia, Batubay Ozkan previously worked as the head of global markets debt trading (2008-2009), the head of global markets corporate coverage (2007-2008), and the head of equity derivatives and flow fixed income (2006 - 2007). He is credited with rebuilding Deutsche Bank's top rated debt trading business for Russia and CIS in March 2008, delivering strong financial performance, and recapturing local and international market share, during the deepest global financial crisis in decades. Prior to his role as Head of global markets debt trading, Batubay was instrumental in launching DB's leading equity and corporate derivatives coverage teams for the region.
Batubay holds a BA degree in economics from Hamilton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Andrew Chulack
Head of Global Banking Deutsche Bank Russia
Andrew Chulack is responsible for the work with Russian and western corporations. He was appointed a Co-head of Global Banking in Russia in May 2007. Previously, in 2006, Andrew joine Deutsche Bank AG team in London, where he became a Head of M&A on emerging markets. Among the deals accomplished are purchase of Heineken by PIT, consulting for Sun Interbrew, Bank Aval`s sale in Ukraine to Raiffeisen International, sale of Ukrsozbank to Banca Intesa, consulting for NBG in the process of purchasing Indexbank, purchasing of Czech Telekom by Telefonica company, sale of ElcoBrandt Fagor, privatization Bezeq, sale of JRH CSL, consulting for RAO UES on restructuring questions, consulting for Banca Intesa in the process of purchasing Ukrsibbank, sale of Prestige Bank to Erste, consulting for an acquirer in the process of purchasing a Marine Transport Bank, purchasing of DTV by STS Media, sale of 50% share in Ekibastuzskoye coal field (Rusal) to Samruk Holding, acquisition of Wasa by Barilla, sale of TenneT to the government of the Netherlands.
Before coming to Deutsche Bank Andrew Chulack was a member of Merrill Lynch team, being a managing director of M&A group (emerging markets). He was responsible for the mergers and acquisition deals in USA and Western Europe, and later in Central and Eastern Europe.
Andrew holds a Master`s degree from Moscow Physics and Technology Institute, and an MBA from University of Southern California.
Mikhail Yudin
Chief Administrative Officer Deutsche Bank in Russia
Mr. Yudin became Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank in Russia in April 2006 and is responsible for Bank infrastructure, administrative and subordinate divisions.
Mikhail joined Deutsche Bank from UFG where he served as General Director and COO from 2002. He began his career in UFG in 1995 and for more than a decade oversaw the development of UFG from a small boutique in a full-service investment company. Under his leadership, the Company developed an innovative business support infrastructure. Prior to his appointment as COO, Mikhail established the Company’s Operations department.
From 1997 to 1998 Mr. Yudin was a member of the Board of Directors of the RTS and was elected to the Board of Directors of the Depository Clearing Company in 2000. Prior to joining UFG, Mr. Yudin was a management consultant for Deloitte & Touche Moscow, where he worked on projects for the creation of settlement and clearing organizations on the Russian securities market. Mr. Yudin graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1994 with a degree in International Economic Relations and English.
