About Corporate Citizenship UK
Deutsche Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility activities aim to make a positive and tangible difference within disadvantaged communities all over the world. With teams operating out of Asia, America, Africa and Europe (Germany and the UK) tackling issues pertinent to the regions, we share one common aim - to build social capital. To do this we invest over 82 million Euros within our five areas of activities: Enabling Talent through Education, Creating Opportunities through Social Investments, Fostering Creativity through Art, Committing Ourselves through Corporate Volunteering and Ensuring Viability through Sustainability.
In the UK, the Bank's Corporate Citizenship team, using the full force of Deutsche Bank's resources, support a number of initiatives with the aim of building stronger relationships between Deutsche Bank, its employees and our surrounding communities. To this end, we invest over £3.5m through the activities of around 70 different partner organisations and broker volunteering opportunities for over 1,200 employees. Our programmes, whilst primarily focused in London, support those individuals most in need in the communities local to our offices. All of these activities are geared towards raising aspirations, building confidence, creating opportunities and breaking down barriers for some of the most disadvantaged individuals in London.
For information about the types of programmes we support and the impact they are having please see our latest community report.
