Impetus honoured by the Institute for Turnaround

The accolade, awarded by the Institute for Turnaround (IFT), recognises private and public companies, as well as governmental and voluntary organisations across the UK, that have managed to turn organisations around in the face of financial or operational difficulty.

Impetus was set up nine years ago to back charities and social enterprises that make a demonstrable, significant and sustainable difference to the lives of disadvantaged people.

Deutsche Bank began working with Impetus four years ago to support three organisations: Blue Sky, Street League and COUI Teens & Toddlers. The three organisations focus on tackling root causes of poverty by providing people in the lowest 20% of the population with greater access to education, skills and employment.

Blue Sky provides employment and support for ex-offenders; Teens & Toddlers aims to reduce teenage pregnancy, and Street League uses the power of football to rebuild the confidence and increase the skills of marginalised individuals in society.

The Bank has invested more than money in this partnership, also offering the leadership skills and expertise of our employees to boost the growth and development of these exceptional charities.
