Art builds.
Art questions.
Art transcends borders.
Art works.

Support for art is part of Deutsche Bank’s brand, reflected in the quality of art in the offices and in the Bank’s support for artistic talent, thereby having an impact both within Deutsche Bank and in the outside world. Through its engagement in art, Deutsche Bank contributes to the cultural development of our global society. Cultivating an environment that fosters creativity and innovation is a vital stimulus to growth and adds value to both art and business.

“Art works” is the motto of the Bank’s Global Art Programme. Firstly the programme works for the artists. The Bank ensures that financial support and encouragement goes directly to the art world, always buying direct from artists or from galleries rather than at auction, thus helping to foster creativity.

Secondly, it works for the Bank. The art collection makes the offices a more vibrant and creative environment for staff, clients and visitors. The Global Art Programme encourages a relationship with contemporary art amongst staff, who are invited to participate in art tours of the collection and to attend talks, held in the Bank’s offices, about contemporary museum exhibitions.
