Frieze Art Fair
The Frieze Art Fair is one of the biggest international contemporary art fairs with top galleries worldwide attending. In 2008, 68,000 visitors attended the fair showcasing works from 150 international galleries. Travelling from all over the world they included major collectors, artists, international museum and gallery directors, media representatives and celebrities from the worlds of fashion, music and cinema.

The success of the Frieze Art Fair is largely due to the tremendous response this highly public-oriented fair enjoys each year in the British capital. The Frieze Art Fair has developed since its beginnings in 2002 from an ambitious newcomer project into one of the most important art events worldwide. During so-called "Frieze Week," London is transformed into a Mecca for art fans from around the world who can experience young art all around the city: at several parallel fairs, in museums, institutions, galleries, or in the public arena.

The event attracted interest and press coverage from all over the world including The Financial Times, The Observer, The Guardian and The Wall Street Journal.
