Deutsche Bank in Asia Pacific

The Asia Pacific region has always played an important role in Deutsche Bank's international strategy. Our roots in Asia go back to 1872 when our first branches were opened in Shanghai and Yokohama. Today we are present in 14 markets in the region. We are structured around the clients that we serve - corporate clients, private clients and fiduciaries & institutions. Our four business divisions are:


Corporate Bank

The Corporate Bank serves as the hub for our corporate and commercial clients. At the core of the division is the Global Transaction Bank (GTB) business, which is an established market leader in Europe with on the ground presence in 60 counties, including an extensive footprint in Asia Pacific.

Investment Bank

The Investment Bank provides strategic advice to corporate and institutional clients, focusing on the bank's traditional strengths in financing, advisory, capital markets, fixed income and currencies, together with a focused equity capital markets business.

Private Bank

The Private Bank focuses on private consumers across all segments as well as business clients. This includes a retail bank in India and a highly competitive wealth manager in key markets in the region.

Asset Management

DWS is a market leader in Germany with a global presence and a broad product offering.
