Creating opportunity for underprivileged young people in Asia
Helping young people everywhere fulfill their potential has long been a part of Deutsche Bank’s corporate citizenship activity around the world.
We believe life chances should not be determined by background. We invest in projects that improve the lives of underprivileged young people in Asia and create opportunities for them to make the most of their talents.
The Born to Be programme in Asia focuses on children and young people from birth to the age of 24.
We work in partnership with non-government organizations, local foundations, community leaders, governments and expert facilitators on projects that:
– improve educational outcomes: be it academic, vocational/livelihood skills, and the arts (music, art, drama)
– provide access to basic necessities: nourishment, clean water, and health care
– provide safe and stable environments: permanent shelter as well as temporary respite
