Deutsche Bank sponsors the 14th Beijing Music Festival

The Deutsche Bank Night of the 14th Beijing Music Festival was successfully held at the Forbidden City Concert Hall on 25 October.

Over 100 Deutsche Bank clients and staff members attended the pre-concert dinner reception. Rose Zhu, Chief Country Officer, together with Stephan Leithner, Head of Investment Banking Coverage & Advisory, hosted the event and addressed the gathering with a welcome speech:  "Over the past 14 years, the Beijing Music Festival has been dedicating efforts to promote classical music in China and enrich the cultural exchange between the West and East, especially between China and Germany. The commitments and outstanding results are widely recognized. Deutsche Bank’s guests along with other 1,300 classical music fans enjoyed the performance of “Mahler Meets Bach” by the Gächinger Kantorei and Bach-Collegium Stuttgart Orchestra, conducted by Helmuth Rilling in their first official performance in China.

Henry Cai, Chairman of Corporate Finance, Asia, together with other Deutsche Bank senior bankers met with the conductor Helmuth Rilling and other musicians post-concert. Mr Cai thanked the musicians for an exceptional performance.
