    On June 18, 30 Deutsche Bank employees in Malaysia attended a presentation by Dr. Sundari Ramakrishna, Director of Conservation from World Wide Fund, Malaysia (WWF) on WWF’s efforts to enhance sustainability and heighten corporate awareness of its conservation projects for wild life, ecosystems and the environment.

  • DBOI Global Services organizes animal healthcare camp

    On March 16, 2013, the DBOI Global Services team in India collaborated with the animal welfare charity Compassion Unlimited Plus Action (CUPA) and veterinarians from the Karnataka Animal Husbandry Department to organize an animal healthcare camp in Banavadi, Magadi Taluk, approximately 70km from Bangalore. more

  • Deutsche Bank cleans up the green lung of Hong Kong

    Over the past 25 years, Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup has become the world’s largest volunteer effort for ocean health. Nearly nine million volunteers from 152 countries and locations have cleaned 145 million pounds of trash from the shores of lakes, streams, rivers, and the ocean on just one day in September annually. more

  • Recycling initiatives for DB Taiwan during Earth Week

    To celebrate Earth Week and to build on the bank's commitment to the environment, DB Taiwan embarked on a local CSR endeavor by organising a week-long recycling event among all staff to collect donation of clothing and blanket, stationeries, toys and games, small electrical appliances, and books for children - items which may be deemed easily available to us, but not for those underprivileged living in the remote parts of Taiwan deprived of such necessities. more

  • Mangrove restoration initiatives in Malaysia

    On 26 March 2011, in conjunction with Earth Week, 77 staff volunteers from Deustche Bank Malaysia planted more than 100 mangrove seedlings at the Kuala Selangor Nature Park. Their efforts follow a similar initiative in 2010 where tree-planting was carried out around the coastal areas near Sepang. more
