Senior management visits charities supported by Deutsche Bank in India

June 2013 │ India

The Jaipur Leadership Team, along with the Deutsche Bank Group Leadership team – Mr. Shrinath Bolloju, Ms. Chitra Shringare, Mr. Rajiv Bhambani and Mr. Linus Chettiar – as well as the Jaipur Corporate Responsibility team, visited a number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and village schools close to the Jaipur site to mark their continued commitment and support to social responsibility.

The first visit was to The Mother Teresa Home where Shrinath handed over a donation to support the NGO and its endeavour to improve the living conditions of their beneficiaries.

The team then visited the NGO, Umang, where Deutsche Bank enables children with disabilities to receive an education in a cohesive environment that ensures they can lead normal lives. Here too our commitment for the society was continued with a donation.

Next on the list, the team visited three different schools in the villages of Mahapura and Kalwar, where the Jaipur Corporate Responsibility teams have pledged to improve the educational environment through the Bank’s Corporate Responsibility initiatives. Thus far, the Jaipur Corporate Responsibility team has donated two water purification filters to these schools.

The management team appreciates the work done so far and is supportive of the upcoming projects such as the computer lab refurbishment project for the schools.
