The event started in the morning with 25 children in elementary school, aged 7 to 12, and 25 volunteers from Deutsche Bank in Korea. Each employee was paired with one child during the session. The group crafted mugs together, showing off their imagination and creativity.
Soon after the crafting session, the children also had an opportunity to see how ceramics are made. Their eyes shone with excitement as the pottery instructor crafted bowls and cups with experienced ease.
Jeffrey Chung, Head of Korea CB&S, said, “This event was a good opportunity to have fun and interact with the children that we support. Deutsche Bank Korea is committed to giving back to our communities and will continuously promote employee volunteer programs.”
The Bank has been supporting Borinwon Orphanage for the last few years, and most recently funded a library for the orphanage.
