You’ll start with a four-week induction; your schedule will include networking events, orientation and business-specific training to help you make your mark as an analyst. This experience is an invaluable opportunity to gain a breadth of technical and product knowledge and to start building relationships that will be vital to you in your career with the Bank. After training, you can expect to take an active role in live deals and transactions, whilst developing a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses.
To succeed in Asset & Wealth Management, you’ll need strong analytical abilities and an interest in capital markets, investments and credit. Just as vital are relationship-building skills and the abilities to innovate, think creatively and make sound decisions, even under pressure. Finally, you’ll need the potential to grow into a leadership role. In your final year of study, you thrive under pressure and in a team. These skills can be found in those studying a range of degree disciplines, but Accounting, Business Economics, Engineering and Mathematics are particularly relevant.
