This four-month experience is designed to give you the skills you need to succeed in our Group Technology & Operations division. And, towards the end of your time with us, if everything’s gone according to plan, to prepare you for full-time employment with Deutsche Bank. Train to Hire is a great way to find out if a technology or operations role in an investment bank is right for you, before you make a long-term commitment. You’ll be involved in a variety of work that will help you understand bank processes and best practice. There’s also plenty of time for personal development and to find your feet within your team – so you’re in the best position to demonstrate your talents and show us what you can do.
A good portion of those who join our Train to Hire opportunity find permanent employment with us. But whether or not you take up a permanent position, you can be sure that the skills you learn will benefit you throughout your career.
If you’re expecting to receive a higher second-class degree (or better) in any degree discipline and you have a genuine desire to build a career in our dynamic environment in Birmingham, this could be the first step of a successful career in global banking. Proficiency in written and spoken German is desirable but not essential.
