EUR 300,000 were committed by Deutsche Bank to ensure an effective implementation of immediate relief efforts. EUR 100,000 has already been donated to immediately support those affected, with the majority of this allocated to the Philippines Red Cross who have mobilised their considerable resources to relief efforts.

Clients and employees show great readiness to support relief efforts

The total relief sum has exceeded EUR 1.3 million, substantially supplemented by donations made by Deutsche Bank clients and employees in a number of regions. From Germany, Deutsche Bank Foundation disaster relief and client and employee donations of a combined amount of EUR 760,000 are available for relief measures. The donations will support the work of international and local relief organizations such as the International and Philippine Red Cross as well as International Medical Corps. Deutsche Bank Asia Foundation and the regional management of Deutsche Bank in Asia are currently assessing the need for further on-the-ground relief measures.
