Landmarks in the Land of Ideas
Every day, people across Germany develop new ideas and innovations with considerable creativity, passion and ingenuity. As a national sponsor of the competition “Landmarks in the Land of Ideas,” Deutsche Bank aims to provide a stage for Germany’s most valuable resource: the ideas in people’s minds.
For the first time, the competition in 2013 reflects an annual theme, “Ideas for the City” honoring 100 projects that provide solutions to the challenges facing cities and regions in the future. The themes range from culture, communication and construction to mobility and living.
The winners have been selected! A high profile jury, assisted by an expert advisory board chose the 100 “Landmarks”, which can now be explored here.
Aim of the competition:
National winners and the general public winner
More excitement awaits award winners in the course of the year: From the 100 “Landmarks”, the jury will select a national winner for each competition category to stand as a beacon of German innovativeness. As part of a nationwide online vote, a general public winner will also be selected from among the 100 award winners. The national winners and all award winners will be honored at a ceremony.
Ideas for the city
More than 2,500
projects have already been premiered by “Germany – Land of Ideas” and Deutsche Bank.
