New initiative to promote the 'Dual Career'

A career as a top athlete must not be a disadvantage for a professional career.

This is why Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe, supported by Deutsche Bank and other national supporters, actively invites German businesses to become part of its new initiative "Sprungbrett Zukunft". Top athletes should not only be promoted financially but also by providing long-term career perspectives via mentoring programs, short-term internships and aid in the application process. The kick-off event of the initiative took place at Deutsche Bank in Berlin on 16 April 2013. Leading representatives from business, sports and politics got together to discuss the future and career perspectives of Germany’s top athletes.

Further information about the kick-off event of the initiative can be found here.
