Germany has a prominent position in science, research and development in Europe and around the world. Especially small and medium-sized enterprises drive innovation in Germany. “Made in Germany” is an important seal of quality. And to remain so, innovation and excellence must be promoted.

What do we aim to achieve?

We aim to strengthen Germany as an innovation hub and help boost German innovation at the national and international level. We encourage people to present their ideas to the public.

What is our approach?

As a national sponsor of the competition “Landmarks in the Land of Ideas”, Deutsche Bank aims to provide a stage for Germany’s most valuable resource: the ideas in people’s minds. Since 2006, we have been a partner of the initiative “Germany – Land of Ideas.”

“Good ideas are treasures worth unearthing to keep Germany competitive.” Jürgen Fitschen, Co-Chairman of the Management Board and Group Executive Committee, Deutsche Bank AG

What have we accomplished?

Deutsche Bank and the initiative “Germany – Land of Ideas’ have already premiered more than 2,500 innovative projects. The competition offers award winners the opportunity to present their ideas to the public and make valuable contacts. The selected projects also serve as an incentive for others to realize their own unique ideas.
