Deutsche Bank has been named Best Foreign Investment Bank and received a “Special Prize” for Capital Markets at the Leaders League Awards by magazine Décideurs, a French publication for bankers and senior business executives.
Marc Pandraud, Chief Country Officer, France, collected the Best Foreign Investment Bank accolade, awarded in recognition of Deutsche Bank’s strong presence in the French market and constant innovations in banking. He told the audience of 600 leading French business and financial executives at an awards ceremony in Paris that it was a great honor for Deutsche Bank to receive an award that was decided by a jury of clients. “The Capital Markets award is a great achievement for the Bank’s origination and sales teams,” Pandraud said, “as they were competing against very strong local banks. These latest awards are a further acknowledgement of how Deutsche Bank’s reputation has improved in France in recent years and is now seen as a very strong player in all Corporate & Investment Bank businesses with a clear strategy.”
Deutsche Bank also received the Leaders League "Special Prize" for Capital Markets as overall runner-up among French and international investment banks.
The Bank was selected for the awards by a panel of clients following written submission and oral presentations from senior bank executives in France. The jury highlighted Deutsche Bank's team spirit. The awards strengthen Deutsche Bank’s position as a leading foreign investment bank in France adding to existing accolades including No.1 international bank in Equity Research (Institutional Investor 2012), M&A (Dealogic, deals announced in 2011) and Cash Management (2011 Euromoney Cash Management Survey).
