Deutsche Bank has won six accolades from Global Finance including being named Best Corporate Bank in the magazine’s list of The World’s Best Banks 2012.
Global Finance called Deutsche Bank “a leading Corporate and Investment Bank” with operations in 72 countries, highlighting its dominance in its home market and “strong presence in emerging markets.”
Deutsche was also awarded Best Foreign Exchange Bank and praised by Global Finance for “staying on top of the FX world year after year [with the] biggest, most diversified and profitable FX operation of any bank”.
The magazine also named Deutsche Bank the world’s largest bank by assets.
In addition, Deutsche won a further three awards in Global Finance’s World’s Best Derivatives Providers: Best Interest Rate Derivatives Provider, Europe; Best Credit Derivatives Provider, Europe; and Best FX Derivatives Provider, Europe.
Global Finance said the awards identify those banks “that have the confidence of their clients as they face unknown challenges ahead."
