Deutsche Bank has been named Best Foreign Bank in Italy in business newspaper Milano Finanza’s Global Awards 2014.
It is the second consecutive year that Deutsche Bank in Italy has won the ‘Guido Carli’ award. In 2013, the Bank was named Best Foreign Investment bank.
Flavio Valeri, Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank Italy, received the award at a ceremony at the Milan Stock Exchange.
He said: “We are honored to receive such an important award, which recognizes our continuing commitment in Italy. In the last four years, we have strengthened our role in the country, opening about 70 new branches, hiring some 1,100 new professionals, launching new divisions, financing families and small and middle enterprises, supporting leading corporations and partnering public institutions. For Deutsche Bank, Italy is the first retail market in Continental Europe, after Germany.”.
At the same ceremony, Finanza & Futuro, the Bank’s network of financial advisors in Italy, received an award as “Value Creator” in the medium–sized banks category.
