Deutsche Bank established its first branch in India in 1980. Currently, it has over 11,000 employees in the country, operating branches in 16 cities. Building on its dominant global markets and leading transaction banking franchises, and with over 500,000 individual customers, Deutsche Bank is a fully integrated financial services provider to Indian corporate, institutional and individual clients.


Business Divisions

Corporate & Investment Bank

The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Finance, Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies and Global Transaction Banking businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.

Corporate Finance is comprised of regional and industry-focused coverage teams co-led from the bank’s hubs in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific, that ensure the delivery of the entire range of financial products and services to the bank’s corporate clients.

Equities is a market-leading provider of equity and equity-linked products to institutional, corporate and retail clients worldwide. The equities platform is built on four product lines – Equity Trading, Equity Derivatives, Global Investment Solutions and Prime Finance – setting the standard in trading, origination, financing and distribution.

Fixed Income & Currencies brings together a top-ranked institutional sales force, world-class research with trading and structuring expertise across Foreign Exchange, Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets. The Fixed Income & Currencies business enables Deutsche Bank to respond to increasing automation, regulatory expectations and client demand for standardisation and transparency in execution across fixed income, currency and emerging markets.

Global Capital Markets (GCM) offers clients access to the bank’s expertise in financing and risk management solutions. This includes Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Debt Capital Markets and the Financing and Solutions Group. GCM works closely with the bank’s Corporate Finance and Institutional Client Group businesses.

Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide.


Private & Commercial Bank

Deutsche Bank's newly established Private & Commercial Bank (PCB) corporate division combines the bank's expertise in private and commercial banking with Wealth Management in one corporate division.

PCB offers our clients high-quality advice and a wide range of financial services from a single source. These range from comprehensive services for retail clients, to solutions for demanding clients in Private Banking and Wealth Management, to business and commercial client coverage.

Private & Commercial Clients International
Deutsche Bank's Private & Commercial Clients International (PCC) Corporate Division provides banking and other financial services to private, commercial and corporate clients in India. PCC's products and services include payment and current account services, investment management and retirement planning, as well as deposits, loans and mortgages. For small and medium-sized clients, PCC offers a full range of services, e.g. from start-up financing to structured finance.

Wealth Management
Wealth Management serves high and ultra high net worth individuals and families as well as selected institutions. It provides these very discerning clients with a fully integrated wealth management service, including inheritance planning and philanthropic advisory services.
