Changes at the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Bank


At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG complied with the wish of Carl-L. von Boehm-Bezing (60), who, acting on medical advice, intends to resign from the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Bank at its General Meeting on May 17, 2001. The Supervisory Board would like to thank Mr. von Boehm-Bezing, who has been on the Board of Managing Directors for eleven years, for his long-standing, valuable work for the bank.

At the same meeting, the Supervisory Board appointed Jürgen Fitschen (52) as new Member of the Board of Managing Directors of Deutsche Bank AG with immediate effect. Mr. Fitschen has been with the bank since 1987, most recently as Divisional Board Member and Member of the Executive Committee of the Corporate and Investment Bank.
