Deutsche Bank decided to relate the new branches' opening plan with the development of an art project supporting young Italian artists, in line with the Bank's commitment in Corporate Social Responsibility and with art in particular.
Starting from 2010, every opening will feature the selection by the bank's Art Department in Frankfurt (in coordination with the curator of the Italian collection) of a young artist's artwork which will be exhibited in the branches.
The artworks will permanently become part of Deutsche Bank's collection and will be exhibited in the branch.
Napoli has been the first step of this project, with an artwork by Alberto Tadiello, young emerging Neopolitan artist, born in 1983. In Puglia we can find artworks by Marina Ferretti in Andria and Riccardo Beretta in Putignano, whilst in Garbagnate the works of Paduan artist Manuel Scano.
New artworks will be fitted over the forthcoming months also in the Vercelli, Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Abbiategrasso, Imola and Ostia branches.
