Deutsche Bank and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo present Fiat 500 'Evoluzione' in Milan - a Tobias Rehberger creation.

The presentation of EVOLUZIONE, Fiat 500 automobile especially designed by German artist Tobias Rehberger - among the most appreciated in the world and Golden Lion at Venice's 2009 Biennale  - will take place on Wednesday, 19th January 2010 at Deutsche Bank's headquarters in Milan-Bicocca Piazza del Calendario 3, from 7 pm to 9 pm. Entry by invitation.

Introduced in November at Turin's Artissima, contemporary art fair, EVOLUZIONE now arrives in Milan where it will be auctioned by Sotheby's next spring. The money raised will be donated to Turin's Sant'Anna hospital.

The event will be attended by Mrs. Lavinia Borromeo Elkann - sponsor of the project -, Tobias Rehberger, Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Chairman of the homonymous Foundation, and Flavio Valeri - CCO of Deutsche Bank in Italy.

Rehberger's creative intervention consists of a remake of the iconic Fiat car, reshaped by the artist to create a unique and exclusive edition. The body, redesigned with innovative shapes and lines, has been transformed into a revolutionary and futuristic sculpture. Special colours and personalized graphics characterize this new car, now an artwork that will be contended by important collectors.

Deutsche Bank is closely connected to Tobias Rehberger: since 1992, the Deutsche Bank Collection has acquired his works on a continuous basis. In addition, he created two special editions for the bank. Furthermore, an entire storey of Deutsche Bank's modernized Group Head Office in Frankfurt, which is to be opened in February this year, will be dedicated to his oeuvre.
