Deutsche Bank Italy opens its doors to visitors on Saturday October 6th, from 10 am to 7 pm in the occasion of the Open Day, the event where external public can access Milano Bicocca's Headquarters to visit the Deutsche Bank Collection. This initiative has become very popular since its beginning in 2007, and will give employees the opportunity to admire over 400 works of art of the Deutsche Bank Collection Italy, the section of the Bank's global contemporary art collection. Deutsche Bank's Open Day is part of "Invito a Palazzo" (Invitation to the Palace), a project by ABI - the Italian Banks Association - to let the public into the Italian banks' venues to visit their heritage, usually closed to the externals.
This year's Open Day is dedicated to the theme "Daily Life", an opportunity to appreciate how works of art can draw on our daily experiences. Visitors will be provided with different kind of thematic paths through the Collection, along with different types of guides, from art specialists to voluntary employees, who will play the "Ciceros for one day", after the great success of last year's initiative, to share with the attendants their everyday experience with art.
Kids are more than welcome at Deutsche Bank Headquarters: a few areas of the bank will turn into creative art labs for 6 to 12 years olders, while a "tender corner" will be set up for children from 3 to 5 years old, with reading and amusement activities by special tutors.
All visitors will also enjoy an all day long buffet, featured with the traditional German specialties.
