Once again a great success for Deutsche Bank's Open Day, the sixth edition of the event dedicated to families, art passionate and sightseers. Over 1.000 visitors were welcomed into the Headquarters of Deutsche Bank in Milan on Saturday, October 6, to visit more than 400 works of art of the Italian section of DB Collection.
"Daily life" is the theme the event was dedicated to: an insight into the endless relationships between art and our everyday routine, discovered through thematic activities and guided tours. Among the works of art under the spotlight were site specific installations, like Patrick Tuttofuoco' (X-Flag), Alberto Garutti's benches (What happens in the rooms when everybody has left ), Roberta Silva's internal garden (Little Concrete Jungle), as well as works from renowned Italian artists, like photographer Gabriele Basilico (series "Fabbrica") and Marcello Maloberti (The dizziness of Lady Emilia 2).
Different types of guided tours were proposed to guests. Also many employees played hosts at Deutsche Bank, taking visitors around the Deutsche Bank Collection to share with them the "Art works" philosophy.
Kids were more than welcome at Deutsche Bank Headquarters: a few areas of the bank were turned into creative art labs for 6 to 12 years olders, while a "tender corner" was set up for children from 3 to 5 years old, with reading and amusement activities by special tutors.
