Deutsche Bank has been awarded as 'Best Corporate Collection' in the Corporate Art Awards, imagined to promote the collaboration between corporate world and art.

Deutsche Bank won the first prize as 'Best Corporate Collection'

The winners of the Corporate Art Awards, prizes imagined to identify, value and promote the best collaborations between corporate world and art at international level, were announced in Rome at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, at the presence of the Minister Dario Franceschini.

Deutsche Bank won the first prize as the Best Corporate Art Collection. This prize is an important acknowledgement  of the a unique example of cultural patronage building one of the most important corporate collections of contemporary art on paper and photography in the world, displayed in 900 locations of the Bank worldwide.

The Corporate Art Awards aim to enforce visibility, recognition and reputation for the best practices in the collaboration between the Corporate world and the Art world. Companies that are actively involved in the Art world tend to be successful in terms of profitability and seem to have overcome most ethical, environmental and social challenges. More than 80 corporation of 22 countries have been taking part to the initiative. Flavio Valeri, Chief Country Officer od Deutsche Bank in Italy has declared: We are delighted to have received the Corporate Art Award, which confirms our national and worldwide commitment to contemporary art. With our collection we have been active in Italy in diverse ways since 2007. We want to enable as many art enthusiasts as possible to have access to contemporary art and thus to create platforms where we can meet our customers and others in our business environment.

"The Art bonus is working well, more than 131 million have been donated by 3.646 patrons- the Minister Dario Franceschini has declared in occasion of the Corporate Art Awards, "an international initiative, perfectly in line with the work we are currently doing. When I have arrived to the Ministry- he added- cooperation between corporate and art seems impossible, a tabù. We have put out effort in order to tear down the wall and the Parliament has approved some regulations that, as data demonstrate, are having good results. Investments in culture is not only positive for the souls, but also for the economy".

We are glad that this prize was won by Deutsche Bank, that has always distinguished itself for the collaborations in the art world. Many corporations have been taking part to the first edition of Corporate Art Awards, from all over the world and with interesting projects. The competition level was really tough; we are getting ready for the next edition, with a more ambitious challenge.
