DB Consorzio

Set up in April 2006, DB Consorzio s.c.ar.l. (a consortium limited company) is a service company that guarantees to the DB Italia Group an independent and effective management of back office activities, IT-infrastructural activities and real estate management and administration services.

Currently, it employes 500 staff and manages a volume of approximately € 165 million.
By enabling the DB Italia Group to focus on customer operations, DB Consorzio can generate important economies of scale, save resources and increase quality of services.

In addition, its integration also with the global Deutsche Bank organisation, enables it to achieve an important strategic objective: the perfect combination of ability to respond to the local market, know-how and global solutions.

Hence, its main shareholders are currently the main companies of the DB Italia Group and DB AG Milan Branch.

DB Consorzio consists of main structures which, in turn, consist in subordinated areas, depending on operational and business needs.

  • Global Technology, which looks after the development, maintenance and optimization of IT systems and ensures that technology infrastructures are functioning
  • Global Business Service is the operations department that attend to the back-office activities for the group
  • PBC Operations that has in charge back-office activities specifically for the retail business division
  • Global Sourcing, which manages the procurement activities for the Group and the suppliers accounts
  • Corporate Real Estate Services, which deal with investment and disinvestment strategies for real estate and their management

The medium/long-term strategy of DB Consorzio is to position itself among the best service companies on the Italian banking market and to assess the opportunities to include other banks among its shareholders.
