At Milan's La Scala a special night for the Italian National Trust with Wiener Philarmoniker

October 9th 2017 ? Milan

Ninth edition of "Great International Symphonic Orchestras for Deutsche Bank in favor of FAI" concert.

Sunday 8 October, a night of great music at Milan's La Scala. The amazing concert of the Wiener Philharmoniker, directed by the maestro Zubin Mehta, brightened up the ninth edition of "Great International Symphonic Orchestras for Deutsche Bank in favor of FAI". This charity project is realized by Deutsche Bank together with the Italian National Trust (FAI), aiming at bringing every year since 2009 the most important Symphonic Orchestras in the world "temple" of classical music.

More than 2000 guests attended the event this year, enjoying the touching music of Johannes Brahms, Franz Joseph Haydn e Bela Bartók, with a final "surprise": the "Voices of Spring" waltz by Johann Strauss. Among the guests many clients, institutional representatives, VIPs and economic/financial partners, who took part to the initiative to raise funds for Villa Necchi Campiglio, the FAI-managed masterpiece realized in the Thirties in the heart of Milan by the Italian Architect Pietro Portaluppi.

The event has been a new occasion to reaffirm Deutsche Bank's commitment to valorize Italian heritage and to promote arts and music, as also demonstrated by the Bank's longstanding partnership with the Berliner Philharmoniker.
