As part of Deutsche Bank Italy's 'International Young Musicians' project, young pianist Leonora Armellini, 19, accompanied by the famous Cameristi of the Scala Orchestra, performed at the Teatro della Società in Lecco, on December 12.
This year, Leonora enchanted the audience playing the Piano and Orchestra Concert in A major KV 414 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and the Piano Concert n. 1 in E minor by Fryderyk Chopin.
Deutsche Bank Italy is the sole sponsor of the 'International Young Musicians project since 2010, contributing to Italy's cultural heritage programmes through its support of the National Trust of Italy, the Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano (FAI), a non-profit organisation with the purpose of protecting and preserving Italy's cultural heritage that may otherwise be lost.
This project aims at supporting young performers that outstanded or won international classic music awards. In the occasion of the Christmas Concert, they perform on stage accompanied by the famous Cameristi of the Scala Orchestra, combining emerging talent and experience, to entertain the city of Lecco with first rate music.
Preceding the concert, guests and clients were hosted for a cocktail dinner at the recently renewed branch in Lecco, that opened its doors in the very heart of the town. The branch presents a new architectural concept that focuses on customer support and advice while underlining Deutsche Bank's position as a premium retail bank.
