October 14th, 2014 ? Milan

Over 600 guests applauded Director Daniele Gatti

Great success at La Scala Theater in Milan for the sixth edition of  Deutsche Bank's concert  in favor of FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the National Trust). This year the prestigious Orchestre National de France executed a special performance of  Igor Stravinsky and Richard Strauss conducted by Director Daniele Gatti. An audience of over 400 guests from the financial , corporate and institutional environment, attended the event.

The event is part of the cycle 'Major International Symphony Orchestras' of Deutsche Bank. Thanks to this initiative some of the world's most important orchestras have performed at La Scala: the London Symphony Orchestra and Daniel Harding (2009), the Bamberger Symphoniker with Georges Prêtre (2010), the Münchner Philharmoniker with Christoph Eschenbach (2011), the Philharmonia Orchestra with Esa Pekka Salonen (2012), and last year the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden conducted by Myung- Whun Chung with the special participation of the pianist Daniil Trifonov (2013).

The funds raised through the concert will be devolved to FAI in favor of the maintenance of Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan city center.

This project is part of Deutsche Bank initiatives in favor of the Italian heritage of art and culture . Through its Foundation, Deutsche Bank stands alongside FAI to support and  protect our territory. In line with this aim, the bank initiated last year a cooperation for FAI's annual fundraising campaign "Remember to Save Italy".
