Deutsche Bank Italy supports the emergency-struck regions with a fund raising

Sardinia and the Philippines have recently been hit by tremendous weather events. Therefore Deutsche Bank Italy has committed to raise funds from anyone who want to support these emergencies.

Both regions are experiencing dramatic damages. Cleopatra storm has heavily hit Sardinia - in a few hours it rained as it usually does in six months - causing critical flash floods, while Haiyan Typhoon has provoked several victims and more than 4,3 million impacted by the disaster in 36 regions. Donations collected by Deutsche Bank will be equally allocated to both regions and given to the NGOs working on site.

Sardinia and the Philippines need our support. Please help us responding to this great emergency by making a donation . We will bring your contribution to people in need.

Deutsche Bank Asia Foundation is working with the Bank's local management in Philippines to assess the needs on-the-ground in order to formulate the most effective response. The bank has committed a minimum of EUR 300,000 to relief efforts. EUR 100,000 has already been donated to immediately support those affected, with the majority of this allocated to the Philippines Red Cross who have mobilised their considerable resources to relief efforts. An additional EUR 200,000 will be used for tactical local and international relief efforts to be further identified. The situation is being monitored closely and the need for further relief commitments gauged.
