Fondazione Deutsche Bank Italia supports Fondazione Banco Alimentare Onlus by launching the first Social Bond issued by Deutsche Bank in Italy. Part of the amount placed will be devolved to Banco Alimentare, which works since more than 25 years to collect food surplus and redistribute it to disadvantaged people.
Subscribers of the Social Bond, whose value is up to EUR 20 million, will receive a 1,25% fixed gross coupon per year. Banco Alimentare will receive a donation equal to 0,50% of the nominal amount placed.
This project is part of Fondazione Deutsche Bank's social initiatives aimed at creating opportunities for people in need, and follows a cooperation between the Bank and Banco Alimentare started last year.
