Creating opportunities for people in need, giving them long-term help; this is the guiding principle of our social commitment in Italy.

In Italy we support people living in difficult social and economic conditions and help them create the opportunities that will ensure better living conditions both in the present and the future.

Backed by the bank's years of experience, the Fondazione Deutsche Bank Italia continues its social responsibility in Italy by supporting projects in various fields for people in need, alongside prestigious partners from the non-profit sector.

With the Fondazione con il Sud we are working to help the children living at Casa di Tonia in Naples; together with the Community of Sant'Egidio in Rome we help elderly people in need, ensuring their right to a home; with San Patrignano we support the recovery of young people with drug problems and their integration into the world of work. With Banco Alimentare we help the fight against food waste and hunger. Lastly, together with non-profit organisation Itaca Onlus, we try to give hope to people with mental illness, helping them to enter the working world.
