It won't be an ordinary Tuesday, the one happening on May 22nd. Next appointment with "I Like Tuesdays" will turn into an artistic action taking place in Deutsche Bank Milan Headquarters. The artist Massimo Bartolini and novelist Maurizio Maggiani will go into the theme "We are the space: the importance of the background".
How can we act to turn the places where we daily live from a mere background to foreground elements, within the definition of our identity? Our two special guests will try to answer this question, in the occasion of this unique event, where the poetic word and the sensory experience will take the lead. Only 100 people will be admitted to the performance.
Artist Massimo Bartolini is renowned for his research about the space. He took part in many exhibitions around Italy and abroad; next June he will present a project in Kassel for Documenta 13. Maurizio Maggiani is a novelist, photographer and professor. His publications received important awards both from critics and readers. His last book is called "Meccanica Celeste" and is published by editor Feltrinelli.
Next "I Like Tuesdays" will take place on June 19th, starring artist Valerio Adami and semiologist Paolo Fabbri. This will be the last event for 2012.
