Italy has a wealth of beauty and excellence which has made it famous throughout the world. Promoting this heritage is a key subject for the country, since it is a potential driving force for development and growth.
Promoting Italian excellence means safeguarding it and protecting it in order to be able to pass it on to future generations. This is why the Fondazione Deutsche Bank Italia supports the FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano (Italian National Trust) in its constant activities to safeguard Italy's countryside and historical heritage.
But promoting something means making the most of knowledge and investing talents in young people for them to become spokespersons for the traditions of Italy all over the world. This knowledge has given rise to the project "the rules of talent" together with the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte, which aims to create the first directory in Italy of Italian schools of excellence, that is, centres of knowledge that have always been involved in training the artisans of the future.
