Deutsche Bank announced today that Fabrizio Campelli, age 41, Head of Group Strategy, will join the Bank’s Group Executive Committee (GEC) with immediate effect. The GEC performs advisory, coordinating, performance-monitoring and decision-preparing functions for the Management Board.
As the Head of Group Strategy since 2009, Campelli works closely with senior management in formulating, executing and communicating the strategy of the Bank. Group Strategy includes teams that manage Corporate Strategy, Corporate M&A, Business Integration, and Infrastructure Strategy. Campelli will continue to report to Henry Ritchotte, Chief Operating Officer.

Campelli joined Deutsche Bank in 2004 and held several roles in Corporate Finance prior to leading Group Strategy since 2009. Campelli previously worked at McKinsey & Company. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Business Administration degree from Bocconi University.
