Deutsche Bank India contributes Rs. 5 crores to Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for Tsunami victims


Deutsche Bank India announced on Friday that an additional INR 4.75 crores was contributed to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. An earlier contribution of INR 25 lakhs in December 2004, makes Deutsche Bank India's total contribution INR 5 crores towards Tsunami relief.

Mr. Gunit Chadha, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for Deutsche Bank India said,"As the relief effort now moves towards ensuring sustainable recovery, we are pleased to assist the Governments tremendous efforts in supporting the affected communities."

Deutsche Bank's corporate and staff donations for Tsunami relief now totals in excess of USD16m.
