Deutsche Bank appoints Peter McLady as Head of Global Exchange Services

Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Peter McLady as Head of Global Exchange Services (GES) effective immediately.

McLady joined Deutsche Bank in 1994 as Head of International Futures and Commodities in Australia. Over the past twelve years he has been based in Sydney and since 1999 was Head of GES Asia Pacific. He relocated to London in 2003 as Head of European Sales for GES.

GES is Deutsche Bank's global futures and options services business and is part of the Global Finance business within the bank's Global Markets division. GES executes and clears exchange-traded futures and options on behalf of clients via an award winning electronic trading platform called ExchangeLink.  ExchangeLink enables clients to trade in every major futures and options exchange in the world via a single screen. It can be customised to suit the specific needs of individual clients.

Alan Cloete, Head of Global Finance at Deutsche Bank said, "Peter has played a vital role in building Deutsche Bank's Global Exchange Services franchise in Europe and Australia, and has more than 15 years experience of the international futures market.

"His knowledge of the market and his understanding of the needs and priorities of our clients in the listed derivative space will be invaluable as we focus on extending our client business flows across the world."

As part of the recent realignment of the debt and equity platforms, the Global Finance business has been working to maximise the synergies of the listed derivative product across both asset classes.
